Dancing Bear Quilting Bee Textile Studio houses the largest collection of textile equipment on public display in Wyoming.

The studio includes floor looms and table looms, primitive looms, spinning wheels, fiber preparation tools, quilting frames and other textile equipment. The equipment is used to demonstrate textile skills and for hands-on activities.

* Classes are offered during the year.

* Guides are provided for all school groups (with advance notice).

* Examples of textiles (quilts, weaving, knitting, etc.) are on display.

On display as of 9/2000:

* Wall hangings and quilts from Susan Tippets, Lyman, Wyoming

* Vintage quilts from the family of Ann Hardesty, Thermopolis

* Textile bobbins and mill equipment of early manufacturing mills.

* Additional interpretive materials are being prepared for year 2001.
